Corruption of The First Amendment

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Our founding father's could not have foreseen what this protection under the First Amendment would do to our great nation.  If they had, the First Amendment may not have been written as it was.  Anyone with internet access can post what ever they want, and most of society (the sheep) just take it as gospel.  What ever happened to utilizing education, research, and logic to deduce the garbage that people post on the internet in order to arrive at truth?

I beg of every parent to teach our children to be better, to question what they read, what they hear, don't allow our children to perpetuate the sickness that has become the shield of "free speech".

The downhill switchbacks are a blast, but you have to be careful not to fly out over the top of one!

This was a great climb out of the bowl, the top had some nice rocks to traverse.

2011 Cranky Monkey Race #2

Yesterday was the second race in the Cranky Monkey mountain bike race series. The race was held at Schaeffer Farms in Germantown, MD. The trails are fast with a lot of action! This is a post race photo of my Anthem X29. I placed 23rd out of 39 with a time of 1:03.

Today was the first race in the Cranky Monkey mountain bike race series held at Wakefield Park. I placed 22nd out of 42 with a time of 1:20.

Remember This Memorial Day

As we awake to the calmness of dawn tomorrow morning to begin the Memorial Day weekend, take a moment to think back on the conflicts our country has been envolved in, and the number of soldiers who have been lost. The freedom each of us enjoy and express everyday comes at the ultimate sacrifice that the men and women of our military have and continue to make. So as we look forward to pools, grills, friends, and family this weekend - remember why we celebrate. Just take a moment to say thank you... - Happy Memorial Day!
